“Breezy Bear”

Breezy Bear is the matriarch of B’sharri’s Breeze. She is the start of it all and the reason I decided I was going to start breeding. She is brown and white with amber colored eyes that lighten the path to a beautiful gold in the sun. She WAS the biggest of our bears at 150lbs (Baby Buckley has her beat now) and her personality fits her size. She is sassy and likes to express her opinion any chance she gets (I swear this dog talks to me all the time and 7 times out of 10 it’s with a sassy, but hilarious attitude). Even though she is the eldest of our breeding program, she is still (and always will be) our baby. She’s lovable and very affectionate. She is very spoiled and likes to sleep in her mamas room but if she’s not there, you can find her chillin’ in the bathroom which is the coolest room in the house. She is currently pregnant with her final litter and is expecting in September 2024. It is bittersweet knowing that this is her final time as mama but she deserves the life of relaxation and freedom in her golden era so, we welcome this last litter with so much excitement and emotion. Breezy thrives on the love of her humans and knows she runs the show. She thinks she is the queen and she wouldn’t be wrong…everyone knows it. She absolutely owns my heart!

“Bash’r Bear”

Bash’r Bear is the most lovable of all our babies. He is our tallest at 31”. He has absolutely no awareness of his size at all and his tail is long and bushy so he knocks things over…a lot! But, when he realizes what he’s done and gives you those “I’m sorry” puppy eyes, you just can’t be upset. He also thinks it’s no big deal to jump up on our lap and lay on us like he’s a lap dog. He can jump like his legs are pogo sticks and when standing on his back feet he is taller than I am at 5’7”! He is also a talker. He will let you know when he needs lovin’s and you’re not giving enough and its more of a high pitched, pitiful tone. You cant help but drop what you’re doing and love on him. I’m pretty sure at this point he’s figured out his unique gifts and is proud of himself for mastering his humans. He gets along with everyone, humans and pups alike. I’m also pretty sure that once he became a daddy, he also became aware of his spot as the “top dog”, but he is a gentle leader and it’s really fun to watch. He’s our current stud and the best daddy, ever. I never knew daddy dogs could be so involved with their pups but he is! He checks on them regularly and is very protective of them and their mothers. He is a giant baby that loves everyone and everything. We just love him!

(Breeze of) “Grace”

Grace, or Gracie Girl as the kids call her, is the sweetest of all our babies but it hasn’t always been this way. She is all black with a very small white diamond on her chest. She is the smallest of our babies but still a big girl weighing in at 112lbs and 26” tall. She is also the only one of our babies considered to be a “tight lip” Newfie but do not let that fool you, she is a drooler! Tight lip does not mean non-drool. Please believe me when I tell you there is no such thing as a Newfoundland who doesn’t drool. Originally intended to be my mothers pup, her energy level was a bit too much so I brought her into our home for some training and she never left. We fell in love and so did she…to everyone! She became Bash’rs best friend and there was no denying that she found her home here with us. She has had the most hyper adolescent phase of all my newfs but these past few months she has really came into her adulthood and is now the calmest, sweetest, lovable baby, ever! She has proven to be the most amazing mama! Everything regarding being a mama from pregnancy to weening, she is a natural. You can almost always find her with a squeaky ball in her mouth. She is the only one of our newfs who actually participates in fetch. The others are too lazy to bring it back, and thats IF they go all the way to get it in the first place. She is the perfect fit in our home and we love her so much. Her next litter will be born in the Winter 24/25.

“B’sharri’s Big Boy Buckley Bear” (father of “Libby” from “The Incredible Dr. Pol” show)

The most surprising addition to our kennel has been this beautiful boy. I had to do some convincing but I just fell in love with his parents and knew I needed him! I was right. This puppy has surpassed all my expectations and then some. All of my newfoundlands went through the adolescent phases, some longer than others. But, this pup has came into our home with nothing but love and affection on the agenda…well that and lots of eating, ok? He’s just turned 1 year old a few weeks ago and he is the biggest of all our Newfies at 154lbs (and still going!!) He’s ginormous! He is our all brown baby with a teensy bit of white on his tippy toes and chest. He is the laziest pup I’ve ever known and he eats everything within reach of his snout. He is so comical when he gets excited and wants to play. He makes the craziest faces and you just cant help but laugh, no matter what he just chewed up that he shouldn’t have. He loves everyone but he is definitely a mamas boy (all my dogs are mamas babies), and you can find him laying on top of my feet or laying by my side. He is definitely my baby and we love him so much!

Quiverfull’s Dancing “Willow” of B’sharri’s Breeze (mother of “Libby” from “The Incredible Dr. Pol” show)

Willow, sister to Deveana, daughter of Bash’r Bear and Breezy Bear was also adopted by my mother. She is co-owned by myself and my mother and lives with mom and Deveana. These two have been best friends from day 1. They couldn’t be more opposite, though. Willow is just like her daddy, both in appearance and in behavior/mannerisms. She is curious and full of adventure. She is typically the one behind all the shenanigans but somehow she manages to drag her sister along for the ride. She is energetic and a wild spirit by heart but just like Bash’r, she is the most lovable baby. She loves to be pet and wants to be the center of attention. She doesn’t know her own size and that big ole tail of her is constantly waving around…much to hear surprise (always wacking things with it then jumps when they fall like, ‘did I do that?). Willow has turned out to be quite the proud mama of the biggest pups we’ve seen, yet. Dr. Pol, himself, chose a pup from her very first litter. Her name is Libby and you can catch a glimpse of her on “The Incredible Dr Pol” show. Willows current litter is sold out and her next expected litter is Summer of 2025.

Quiverfull’s “Deveana” of B’sharri’s Breeze

Deveana is the daughter of Breezy Bear and Bash’r Bear. She was born with a heart shaped gray patch on her side and does it ever match her. She and her sister, Willow, are inseparable and of the pair she is the most lovable, gentle natured girl. She reminds me so much of her mama. She has a very solid body like Breezy and has matured to a very big sturdy body just like her mama. She was adopted by my mother with the intention of being able to continue the B’sharri line and to bring the love and companionship that Newfies are known for. And she has done just that. “They keep me young, that’s for sure”, mom said as she leans over to scratch that ‘ahhh’ spot behind her ear. “Vee” as we call her has proven to be one of the best mamas we’ve ever known. She is the perfect balance of protector, nurturer, teacher, and supermom. With Buckley as her sire, she, along side with her sister, Willow have beautifully big babies and we couldn’t be more proud. Deveana is on a break now and her next litter is Summer of 2025.

“Violette” Fields of B’sharri’s Breeze

Meet the newest female of B’sharri’s Breeze Newfoundlands, Miss Violette. This beautiful and super affectionate girl is the daughter of Bash’r Bear And B’sharri’s Breeze of Grace. The only gray baby of her litter (and quite chunky at that) she stuck out like a sore thumb and you just couldn’t help but fall in love with her. At least, Since then, Violette has become a “mama’s girl” and I can’t say enough about how well behaved and mannered she is. She loves to give lots of lovin’s and by that I mean lickin’s 😂
By 6 months old, she was leash trained, housebroken, spoke on command and had many tricks down pat. A showgirl for sure, she loves to be the center of attention to show off all of training and as all Newfies, loves to be rewarded with all the treats. I cannot wait to watch her become a “mama” herself as she will no doubt carry on her mothers natural gift at it. Tall and long like her daddy, sweet and gentle like her mama and has the big heart of both of them with all the love to boot. Violette has proven to be an amazing mama and it’s been such a beautiful journey to watch. We couldn’t be more proud of ‘B’sharri’s princess’.

“Blue Bear”

Blue is NOT (I repeat, NOT) in our breeding program.
We call him the “old man” of the house. He is only half Newfoundland (half Australian shepherd) and is neutered. He is our oldest baby at 8 years old now and his role in our family is too great for him not to be included in a website about our family, so here he is. My 12 year old daughter was diagnosed with autism and cognitive impairment at 3 years old. A year later, a local charity reached out with the desire to gift her with a therapy/companion dog…enter Blue (named after the fact that half of his left eye is a beautiful blue). He was taught to sense her meltdowns and not only alert the family but also ease her through them and he did that and more. He was also taught to prevent her from going in areas she wasn’t supposed to be in, especially trying to go outside. He has changed all of our lives but especially our baby girl. They are best friends. He is convinced that Breezy is his wife and while he used to love Bash’r too, ever since Breezy and Bash’r had babies, he has had nothing to do with him, now. Grace has too much energy for him so he tends to stay away. I don’t know if she senses his annoyance and just wants him to love her or if she thinks its just funny to mess with him but she’s constantly licking his face and trying to give him kisses. Its hilarious! I was worried that he would not like Buckley but oddly enough, he loves him! Go figure. Although, I’ll have to update this after Breezy and Buckley have their babies next year…stay tuned, lol. To say that we all love this pup would be an understatement. He has been a god send. I didn’t feel right not acknowledging him, here.
